Cherry angioma is a benign vascular formation consisting of a bundle of expanded capillaries. Cherry angiomas usually have a red or cherry-red color. With age, the fragility of the skin's surface blood vessels increases, the vessels expand and the number of angiomas can significantly increase.

Are cherry angiomas dangerous?

They are not dangerous. It is necessary to see a doctor if you have also noticed other skin changes near the angioma. If the angioma causes discomfort or looks unaesthetic, it can be removed.
