The Occupational Health Care Act obliges the employer to organize preventive occupational health care for all employees regardless of the number of employees, job tasks, working hours, or the duration of the employment relationship.

The purpose of occupational health care is to prevent work-related illnesses and accidents and to maintain employees' work and functional capacity.

Occupational health care is voluntary if the company only employs self-employed persons (YEL).

The first measure is a comprehensive workplace assessment, on which occupational health care activities at the workplace are based.

During it, the conditions of work and the work environment are assessed, as well as their possible effects on the health of employees.

Based on the workplace assessment, an action plan is drawn up, and based on it, possible medical examinations and other measures are organized to improve working conditions and promote work ability.

Occupational health care costs are influenced by the company's industry, type of work, number of workplaces, and location, so the final costs are only determined after the workplace assessment.

We offer fixed-price service packages that enable more precise budgeting. If all statutory measures according to the action plan are performed, the price of the service package for the following year is reduced accordingly.

According to Kela's discretion, the employer may receive reimbursement of up to 60% of the incurred costs from Kela for preventive (Reimbursement Class I) and employee work ability maintenance activities. The reimbursements are calculated based on the type of company and the number of employees.
