    Remote Services offer an easy and secure way to connect with our health care experts. You can access these services through the “My Health” section of My Medfin.

    Terveyschat

    (Available only to Occupational Health Care customers)

    Terveyschat is the primary contact channel for our Occupational Health Care customers. Our occupational health nurse can assist with appointment bookings, answer health-related questions, issue sick leave certificates, provide self-care guidance, consult a doctor, or arrange a doctor’s appointment or further examinations as needed. If services are required at Medfin’s partner clinics, you will receive booking instructions via the chat.


    In secure Terveyschat, you can send voice messages, images, and files, and receive documents from us, such as sick leave certificates.

    Video Appointment

    (Available in Finland and abroad)

    Video appointments provide a convenient way to connect with our Occupational Health Care experts. Do not use video appointments for sudden abdominal, chest, or head pain, sudden heart rhythm disturbances, or sudden shortness of breath. In these cases, contact emergency services immediately.

    How Does a Video Appointment Work?

    First, you need to book an appointment with your chosen specialist through My Medfin.


    Video Appointments work on all smartphones, computers, and tablets. Your device must have a microphone, camera, and a working internet connection.


    Medfin’s Video Appointment is secure, double-protected, and fully compliant with EU legislation.

    How to Join a Video Appointment:

    After successfully booking an appointment, you will receive confirmation via text message and email.


    Fifteen minutes before the Video Appointment begins, log in to the “My Health” section of My Medfin and select “My Booking”.


    Click on the upcoming appointment and press “Sign In”.


    Before the Video Appointment, our portal will prompt you to check your device’s microphone and camera. Start the check and grant your browser permission to use the microphone and camera.


    After a successful device check, click the “Start the review” button.


    If you are abroad, please account for the time difference between Helsinki and your location.

    Appointment Cancellation Policy:

    You can cancel a Video Appointment up to 12 hours before the scheduled time if needed.


    If you cancel less than 12 hours before the appointment or fail to attend, your employer will be charged based on the scheduled time.


    Cancellations must be made by phone or through My Medfin. We do not accept cancellations via text message or email.
