The private medical center MEDFIN has been operating under the Finnish Ministry of Health license since 2004. In our work, we combine the innovativeness of Finnish medicine and the thoroughness of Russian and Estonian medicine. Our doctors were educated in Finland, Russia or Estonia and are licensed in Finland.

Remote telemedicine service

MEDFIN offers a quick and easy way to renew prescriptions remotely. On weekdays, the request for a prescription renewal is processed before the end of the working day. You can buy the medicine at the pharmacy immediately after receiving confirmation that your prescription has been issued.

We renew and write electronic prescriptions remotely only in clear medical cases when the doctor has sufficient grounds for making a medical decision. In some cases, an in-person appointment with a doctor may be required.

At your service is a remote appointment service with a general practitioner in Russian, Finnish and other languages. With the help of a teleconsultation, you can get a doctor's opinion on a question of interest to you, issue a sick leave certificate, request a prescription for medicine or renew an existing prescription, discuss the results of tests and other issues that do not require a personal meeting with a doctor in the office.

Video consultations also allow citizens of other countries to request confirmation of the appointment of their attending physician and issue a prescription for European and Finnish pharmacies.

Services at the medical center

We offer adult patients and their children the opportunity to contact our general practitioners for questions about diagnosis and treatment of diseases, sick leave, certificates and certificates, medication prescriptions, laboratory tests, and referrals to specialists (including in the public health system). Booking an appointment with a MEDFIN doctor through our booking system is convenient; you can book an appointment for the same day.

We have doctors with extensive experience in gynecology and urology who perform essential medical interventions on an outpatient basis in addition to diagnosis and treatment.

Our medical center has long specialized in removing moles, papillomas, hemangiomas, and other skin growths, as well as their benign assessment. As one of the leaders in these services in Helsinki, we offer our clients an innovative, gentle method of mole removal and radiofrequency ("cold laser"). The skin in the area where the nole was removed recovers quickly. This procedure does not leave any noticeable scars or marks, so it is well-suited for removing moles on the face, neck, and other visible body parts. You can book an appointment for mole removal or its assessment, as well as assess the skin growth yourself using the Mole Atlas, which we have compiled with the participation of dermatology professor Raimo Suhonen.

We can quickly and conveniently get you a medical certificate for a driver's license. We offer daily medical examinations to assess your health, and you can see a doctor on the same day. We also offer extended medical reports, issue medical certificates for professional drivers, and monitor drug and alcohol use for driving licenses.

We offer you laboratory tests at a convenient time without a doctor's referral. You can choose individual tests or a test package at a favourable price. By choosing a comprehensive test package, you get a more complete picture of your health indicators and save time and money.

We will send you the results of the packages in Finnish and Russian, and for Finnish residents, the results of the tests will be available in Kanta.
